I’m Jaz☆〜（ゝ。∂）. An experimental vocalist, soundperformance creator, electronic and ensemble musician. Classically trained and earthenly freed, I am invested in creative interconnection of our collective mycelia.

Through ecstatically dancing with my voice, body, and other mediums I invite authentic expression to be channeled. I create works combining visual art, performance, music and spirit with collaborative sotrytelling and exploration at the center. My thematic passions and true medium lies unconscious, magical realism, attachment, intimacy, and self-dialogue. 

My independently-released music, most recently my debut LP “False Awakening Loop”,  is voice and electronics based. I use extended as well as classical vocal techniques to create a wide range of timbres, to invoke a sensory onomatopeia into my poetry. It’s a DIY, imperfectionist project devoted to the messy beauty of the unconscious.

In my more classical solo and ensemble work, I enjoy exploring alternate tonalities, extended techniques and innovative notations. I appreciate the adventure of caring for another’s music and taking on new, provoking vocal challenges.
