The Feminist Alliance Movement is a Calarts club and community care network I have been a core organizer of since 2024. We hold space for collective healing around intersectional identity-based trauma, as well as joy and reflection. As we radically and authentically witness eachother, we dream alternatives to white-supremecist capitalist patriarchy. We have installed and performed at Calarts EXPO for two years versions of the “Cunt Cave”, a communal care space based in feminist values.Â
The Bards of Ethera is a fantasy ethereal band founded by Maddison Schneider at Calarts, for which I am a vocalist and occasional tambourine player. We have performed at Calarts and at the Magic Market Pop Up in Pasadena (which is super fun and you should go!)Â
The N.E.O. Festival in Los Angeles is one of the most incredible singing experiences I’ve had. Working with other experimental vocalists and contemporary composers, in a healing and compassion centered workspace is quite literally the dream. I’m honored to compose for the 2024 season- find out more info on my writing page 🙂

Another choir I have sung in at Calarts for 2 years is the Contemporary Vocal Ensemble, which I also had the pleasure of composing for in 2024. No greater pleasure is there for me than to perform Meredith Monk ensemble pieces! Click pic to watch 🙂
The Pheonix is a performance piece for dance and voice, created by Selma Stocker. I was the main vocalist and music designer in the two performances of this piece that took place in spring of 2023, one at Calarts and one at the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica. Nothing like some acapella baroque music in a dark theatre!
I also play in the Balinese Gamelan on pomadeh! Playing the gong kebyar under Pak Nyomen Wentin is the highlight of my weeks at school, every week. I have played in the World Music Festival at Calarts 2022-2024. Click photo to watch!
